Survey at your premises
A chimney renovation is not a straightforward procedure. In particular, shunt chimneys involve quite a lot of demolition and breaking work. After all, we cannot see through walls.
Transparency is very important to us, which is why we give you a tailor-made quotation. We have to get a good idea of your chimney beforehand, such as its diameter and current condition. We are unable to do this without opening the chimney flue in the necessary places.
A chimney survey is especially important for shunt chimney renovations and for installing CLV systems.
A chimney survey comprises the following:
- An examination of your chimney(s), including a flue gas test where necessary.
- Calculation or recalculation and measurement of your chimney’s dimensions.
- Checks on the compatibility of your existing chimney/CLV system with gas-fired condensing boilers.
- Checks on the suitability of the gas discharge pipes for the acidic condensation liquid.
- Creation of a full report on your existing boiler equipment
