Condensing boilers are the new standard!

There are various types of central heating boilers, such as floor and wall-mounted boilers. Floor-mounted boilers are heavier and more robust. The advantage of lighter, wall-mounted boilers is that they do not take up floor space.

The new standard in Belgium is the HR TOP certified heating boiler, also known as a condensing boiler.
A HR TOP certified boiler recuperates heat from flue gases to heat the home. During the heat recovery process, hot water vapour in the flue gases condenses, which leaves condensation water.

This type of high performance boiler uses considerably less energy than a conventional central heating boiler. Heat is not lost through the chimney but is instead used to heat the central heating water and hot water in the home. During installation, we make sure that the condensation water discharges properly to the sewer system and we fit a suitable thermostat for your boiler.

Tip:
If the boiler in your block of flats is not a condensing boiler, but you would still prefer this type of boiler, a shunt chimney renovation using the CLV principle could be a solution.
